Rider’s bulletin n.2

Riders bulletin n.2 📒June 3, 2019

Hey there,

We are working tirelessly to prepare everything for you, the riders of the first edition of Appenninica MTB Parmigiano Reggiano taking place on the Apennine mountains of Emilia Romagna! We are 46 days out.

This is the second rider bulletin. These bulletins will provide useful information, news, and mandatory action reminders.

News and Updates:

  • Remember to look for answers on the FAQ page. It is updated almost weekly with the questions that we get asked the most.
  • The riders’ bulletins will be saved on the website so that you won’t have to dig them out of your inbox.
  • What is included in your race entry in listed under Riders Services. The good news is that since first published we included more items.
  • Great new sponsors starting with Parmigiano Reggiano as title sponsor. 9th Wave, and Squirt also joined Appenninica.
  • Registration closes on Sunday, June the 30th and we will publish the participants list then, too. For the first edition we’ll have a manageable 70 riders in total.
  • We received feedback in terms of diets: we are adding lactose free options and low-gluten options.

Reminders and To Do:

  • Extra packages: book massages and mechanical service now by logging in to your Active.com account. You can find the description here.
  • If you have a companion with you, we offer a tourism package and a supporter package. See those programs here.
  • If you would like to opt for hotels and not staying in the dorms you should update your registration – and pay the addition cost – by the end of June (Friday, the 28th).
  • If something does not look complete with your registration, you will be contacted this week. Look out for an email from us coming from info@appeninica-mtb.com.
  • UCI or medical certification. As per race rules each rider must either have a UCI license or provide the organizers with a medical certificate (download a medical certificate sample).

Also, make sure to sign up for the newsletter on the website to receive the latest news and updates from Appenninica MTB Parmigiano Reggiano.

Ciao from the Appenninica team!
