There are several options to stay overnight during the Appenninica MTB Stage Race.
Standard race registration includes a place in a dorm (inside a building such as a school, gym, etc) in the Race Village from the night of July 20th, at the end of the Prologue, until the night of the last stage (stage 7). Go to the program to see all the stages. Appenninica4: for the 4-stage format the same as above but starting on Wednesday, July 24th.
The dorm is NOT equipped with mattresses or sleeping bags. The race organization will move your camping gear along with your race bag – but in a separate bag to not take away space from your race bag.
For the night of July 19th, before the Prologue – NOT programmed in the Race Village – you can book an extra night as indicated in the packages page.
For the night of July 27th after stage 7, if you wish a more comfortable night, you can book an extra night as indicated in the packages page.
If you prefer, you also have the option of staying in a hotel. The type and level of hotels will vary from stage to stage. At the end of each stage, the organization guarantees transportation to the hotel, while the racing bags will be delivered and picked up directly at the hotel reception. For more information go to the Extra Packages webpage. In the morning a shuttle will be organized with sufficient time to arrive at the start of the stage.
Campers & RVs
Teams can also stay overnight in their team’s campers. The campers will be parked in a dedicated area and only the campers with the exposed athlete pass will be allowed.
IMPORTANT: you can enter the area of the tents of the Race Village ONLY with an athlete or companion pass.
